old? or young?

I am another year older. today I am 24. that is old, and yet it is very young. I have been on this earth and out of my mothers womb for 24 years. In those years I have done many things...

but I still have many things I have yet to do that I would like to,

THINGS I WOULD LIKE TO DO BEFORE I DIE (do not take that in gross terms, josie grosie):

1. obtain a real life sized cardboard cut out of Jared holding his big pants. they exist and I want one. I would dress up jared on the holidays and special occasions.

2. use physical violence as a means to solving a problem. I'm sure it's super fun.

3. To be able to successfully hauk a logie. now this may sound really gross but if you have ever needed to but couldn't...it's an unhappy time. NOT good times.

4. To publish one of my comics

5. to never become diabetic. or this may be the cause of my death because theres no pulling candy away from my claws of doom.

more to come later if I am bored enough.

Flapjacks and smoke stacks...

What a site for sore eyes.

LumberJack Club Meeting

Time: 4: 41 Eastern (thats not true)

first i would like to say, that if you have not gone to www.lumberjacks.com/ then you need to. and you need to quickly. Be proud of what lumberjacks can do. beautiful work my friends.

ALRIGHT now for the Fun stuff.

Lumberjacks are brave. each time they say goodbye to their families and go into the woods it's like entering a battefield. Who knows when a tree might smack you upside the head and knock you out. thats why you need to make sure you are armed and dangerous. Do not enter the woods without one of these bad boys:

ouch, i would hate to be diced open with one of those. hahahaha those trees have no idea whats about to hit them.

go out there and give it your all folks.

Now is the time to give you all the update on one very important thing,

FIRE SEASON HAS STARTED, PEOPLE.

this means smokey is going to be watching your back!

See that shovel in his hands, he could take that to your throat if he catches you messin with any trees and matches. I know us lumberjacks enjoy a good flame on fields of grass but we need to watch ourselves. Smokeys pants and belt are not joking when they say, "only you".

"only you can prevent the forest that YOU cut trees in to stay there and not be burnt to a crisp even if you didn't mean to that one time at your granny's house throwing flamming tennis balls at your stupid cousin, franky!"

WHoa,

just remember lumberjacks, to keep eating those flap jacks and being nice to your mother!

Meeting over, fools.

Tim, you're right...

I should be more lumberjackish to my fellow lumberjack club memebers. Which reminds me I need to throw a lumberjack club meeting soon. Too bad half of the lumberjack memebers have gone off to facebook and never returned.

Full day student teaching

I am almost finished with my work sample. I prepared a unit on the medieval time period with a focus on improving the students shading and texture techniques. I am on my last lesson today and Monday.

This placement has been great, and I have a very supportive and knowledgeable cooperating teacher. I cannot believe I am almost finished with the student teaching experience; the year has gone by so quickly.

I feel as if I am a lot more confident in my teaching and lesson planning abilities. My supervisor has said that I am very comfortable teaching with both the high and middle school levels. I feel as if these experiences have not only brought me that much closer to my dream but also is building me into the great teacher that I want to become.
